Back to the trullo: Alessandra, Bari's heart that beats in Milan, has chosen to bring back to life a three-cone trullo in the shade of a solitary cypress of Monterey to make a refuge in Puglia for slow holidays with her family.
“When we arrive at Trulli La Cipressa everything changes, the colors, the smells, the food, but above all the rhythms of life that follow those of nature", says Alessandra. She shares her love for this inimitable countryside half an hour from the sea with her husband Edoardo, Puglia lover.
According to Edoardo, it is easy to fall in love with the valley of the trulli: "One never tires of admiring and living it: the red earth, the green olive trees, the blue of the sky, the white of the trulli, the roundness of their walls, the dry stone walls. And then the scents of the lush Mediterranean scrub and the flavors of wild plants.”

For Alessandra and Edoardo Trulli La Cipressa is also a return to nature, to contact with the earth, to healthy living.
The trullo is a dwelling of ancient conception, a round shell with a conical roof that welcomes and protects. Their choice was to transform this centuries-old building into a holiday home with infinity pool, maintaining its sobriety and preserving the charm of the history transmitted by every single stone, the union of man and nature.
The result is a pure casket set among the olive trees of Valle d'Itria, as simple as elegant, featuring a look forged by tradition, but which coexists harmoniously with the comforts and conveniences of modern living.

Decoration plays on the reuse of pieces and antique objects recovered on the building site or coming from Italian bric-à-brac, or purchased in the nearby markets of Ostuni and Martina Franca: while outside the trullo and nature are the main interpreters, inside every corner and every niche show great attention to the mise-en-scène. There are many devotional objects related above all to the figure of St. Nicholas, a tribute to the peasant religiosity and the patron saint of Bari, one of the most loved and venerated saints in the world that unites Catholics and Orthodox, pop icon that has inspired even the figure of Santa Claus.
Great care was taken in creating the areas of the holiday home for breakfasts, lunches, aperitifs and dinners: the country chic kitchen, featuring an old pasta-making table and a turquoise pantry to be filled with provisions, is ideal to play with the gifts of the countryside and prepare a feast of flavors for those you love; the table inside the trullo has the grace of time; the large build-in table covered by a matted cane canopy is convivial and with views of the trulli and the swimming pool. INSIDE: Trulli La Cipressa is a complex of trulli and lamie expertly recovered and equipped with every comfort.
The entrance is into the spacious sitting room with build-in sofas and an old stone fireplace.
The antique lamia hosts the sleeping area that comprises 1 double bedroom provided with an en-suite bathroom with shower and 2 twin bedrooms served by a bathroom with shower.
An annex overlooking the pool hosts a comfortable sleeping area and private bathroom with shower for two people.
The trulli area includes a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen (large fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven and Nescafè coffee machine) and a functional storage closet with laundry area.
The property is equipped with air conditioning system, mosquito nets, security alarm system and WiFi.

OUTSIDE: Trulli La Cipressa overlooks a spacious terrace that hosts an al fresco gazebo with a large dining table and a spacious lounge area with built-in sofas.
The relaxation area includes a 10X4 meter SALT WATER INFINITY POOL overlooking the private valley, a large solarium and an external shower.
Trulli La Cipressa is set on a lush property of one and a half hectares rich in olive and almond trees, and Mediterranean natural vegetation.
